Vancouver, BC: The Real Estate Institute of British Columbia (REIBC) is delighted to host its 17th annual Golf Tournament, Dinner & Auction fundraising event in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, BC/Yukon Chapter on Wedneseday, June 23rd, 2010 at the Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey, BC.

Over the past 16 years, the REIBC has raised over $315,000 for local charities and is pleased to partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, BC/Yukon Chapter again this year. "Not only is the event a great way to have fun with clients, colleagues and supporters, but it is especially great to know that we are contributing to a great organization that grants wishes to very special children" says REIBC President, Peter Remillong.

The Make-A-Wish foundation, BC/Yukon Chapter has been granting wishes to children with life threatening illnesses since 1983 and had granted more than 1000 wishes in the BC/Yukon Region. This year, the Foundation hopes to grant between 80 and 100 special wishes that aim to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

The mission of the Real Estate Institute of British columbia is to advance and recognize excellence in education, knowledge, professional development and business practices uniting all sectors of the real estate industry. REIBC works with a variety of organizations and serves a diverse membership of real estate professionals.
