Whether you have years of experience or are new to the industry, REIBC is your key to career advancement and connection with the real estate industry. Professional members have achieved the RI Designation, which provides employers and clients with instant confirmation of advanced levels of education and experience.
We would like to introduce new RI:
Bradley Stokes-Bennet
I started in the private equity sector with a focus on investing in real estate financial securities such as Limited Partnerships, Mortgage Investment Corporations (MICs), Offering Memorandums and Joint Ventures. I was also an Investment Advisor at TD Wealth Private Investment Advice prior to becoming a licensed realtor. For approximately 10 years, I have been a Developer or General Partner on two high density projects in downtown Victoria consisting of approx 350 individual condo or apartment units. I have also developed real estate in California near San Diego.
I am currently both a Developer on 989 Victoria with Cox Developments and a Licensed Realtor at The Agency. I also actively consult and write about the real estate market at www.bradstokes.ca. I live and work out of Victoria BC.
As a Developer I still have an active project and expect to complete all sales in 2021. I became a realtor as it was an excellent way to work with individual buyers and sellers, obtain unbiased market data and amplify my ability to develop sales and marketing strategies for the Victoria BC projects. I consult and write about the real estate market and various related topics, using my past experiences to hopefully create new context and opinions around some of the dominant economic real estate narratives that I believe should be explored in more depth.
I was overjoyed to receive the RI designation as it is a diverse community of real estate experts that can efficiently come together to discuss how our society approaches real estate solutions and asset management. I look forward to meeting as many of BC’s RI members as I can and explore different topics together.
While finishing my MBA, I was able to focus on various renewable technologies that could potentially be incorporated into residential housing development. Moving forward, I believe that there will be ample future business opportunities for renewable energy generation and storage within specific types of real estate projects.
Before my start in the financial and investment world, I was a co-founder of the world’s first Kindness Crew at www.extremekindness.com. With a vision to connect the world through kindness by inspiring, educating, and mobilizing people to commit acts of community service, I co-wrote two best-selling books COOL TO BE KIND & CALL TO ARMS and was featured on Good Morning America and CNN. Today, I still try to make time to speak about the importance of giving back and injecting kindness into the corporate world.
I love living on Vancouver Island with my wife Tamara and our two young sons, Jude & Luke. I look forward to helping more people live and create new homes within this wonderful community on the far west side of Canada. We have waves to surf and mountains to climb & ski, I expect more of the world to continue to discover the Victoria market and having a strong supply of real estate will be key to maintaining happy and healthy communities.

Meet the Pros
Each year REIBC does a Meet the Pros event for the students that are taking Real Estate at BCIT. This year due to COVID-19 we were unable to hold the Meet the Pros in Person so we adapted and held it via Zoom.
We had 10 different professionals speak about 10 different specialties and we slotted them in specific times so they were able to talk about their specialty and the students could ask questions. Early feedback is that it is was successful and the students were pleased we were able to hold it for them even in these challenging times.
Thank you to the following pros for participating:
