BC Land Summit - Dr. Randall Bell Email

The BC Land Summit Society is excited to announce that Dr. Randall Bell , the aptly-nicknamed “Master of Disaster” will be joining us at the  B.C. Land Summit , May 14-16, 2014 at the Sheraton Wall Centre.

Dr. Randall Bell, is a principal of Bell Anderson & Sanders LLC, of Laguna Beach, California, a consulting firm that specializes in real estate and environmental damages.

Dr. Bell has travelled throughout the U.S, Europe, Japan, China, Micronesia and South America assessing the impact that environmental issues, geotechnical issues, construction defects, as well as natural disasters have had on value.

He has worked on a variety of well-known assignments including determining the value of the World Trade Centre site in the aftermath of the September 11th tragedy.  He was also a consulting expert on the Murphy Oil Spill in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, as well as the BP Oil spill which was the largest oil spill in U.S. History.

He has also written a variety of articles and papers many of which can be found in the Appraisal Journal. ; Titles include: The Impact of Detrimental Conditions on Property Values and Contaminated Waterways and Property Valuation among others.

Having received global attention for his expertise in Appraisal, the BC Land Summit Society is pleased to have him share his extraordinary expertise with us at the B.C Land Summit.

He will also be hosting a special Pre-Conference Session called “Assessing the Damages: Valuing Stigmatized Properties” on Wednesday, May 14th at 2 p.m.
