Every year, the REIBC gets to work closely with the BCIT Real Estate Association. We recently had the opportunity to touch base with a few of last years' graduates and have shared their stories. If you're a recent BCIT grad and want to share your story, please e-mail us at info@reibc.org.
Bahareh is a recent graduate of the Professional Real Estate program at BCIT. After graduating last May, she obtained her Commercial Trading Services license and has since started her career with Orange National Retail Group.
As an account manager she provides real estate consulting and market research services exclusively to regional, national and international retailers. She is thankful for the opportunity to develop under her managing broker, Lenora Gates; a respected figure and role model in this industry. Bahareh loves each diverse aspect of her career and thrilled to see what her future in this industry holds.
REIBC Charity Golf Tournament
We are pleased and excited to share Liam's story with you. Liam is one of the many children that was granted a wish with money raised at the 2015 REIBC Charity Golf Tournament. Thank you to all of our sponsors for making Liam's wish possible!

The REIBC continues to receive updates on the great wishes that are being granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC & Yukon as a result of many charitable donations, including dollars from REIBCs Charity Golf Tournament. We received the following email from it's CEO Mr. Ross Hetherington.
Dear Friends of Make-A-Wish,
Ben’s wish to have won ton soup with Canuck Alex Burrows came true thanks to all of you!
Every wish that you help us grant is unique and carries the wish child and their family from a place of uncertainty to a place of hope, but I can safely say that this is the first ‘have won ton soup with Alex Burrows’ wish that we have ever granted!
Here is Ben’s Circle of Joy wish story with our heartfelt gratitude for helping us share the magic of a wish with so many inspiring kids throughout our province.
We grant wishes because wishes change lives.
We are on target to grant over 100 wishes this year and some of the wishes we are working on presently include: I wish to meet NBA MVP Stephen Curry; I wish to go skiing with my family at Big White; I wish to have my own backyard playhouse and I wish to meet Rapunzel!
From all of us at Make-A-Wish, but especially from our wish kids, thank you for helping us share the power of a wish®.
Ross and the Make-A-Wish BC&YK Team
The 2016 Golf Tournament will be held on June 22, 2016 at the Richmond Country Club! Registration now open.

Ltd., a Beijing-based company with a reported US$114 billion in assets, is buying what amounts to a 66 per cent stake in Bentall I, II, III and IV — a sprawling commercial 1.5-million-square-foot office complex, with some retail, in the heart of Vancouver.
