Meet-A-Member

We would like to introduce a new RI: 

Angela Prince, RI

I graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia in May 2015 with a double major in General Business and International Business. I started working for BC Assessment in my fourth year of University as a Property Information Collector on the Residential side of BCA. However, when I started at BC Assessment, I knew nothing about appraisal but I have learned and grown a lot over the years through my knowledge base and professionalism.

I am still working for BC Assessment in Prince George, BC, as an Industrial, Commercial and Investment Appraiser. I have now been at BC Assessment for over 5.5 years, and I am currently working on finishing my BUSI 499: Income Property Guided Case Study course through UBC Sauder.

I have continued to work at BC Assessment because it fits in with my current work goals, and allows me to have a flexible life/work balance. I have attained a lot of work experience from starting on the residential side of appraising properties to moving forward to appraising commercial and industrial properties.

I really enjoy the work I currently do and enjoy working with my current Commercial and Industrial appraisal team. However, at the end of the day I enjoy coming home to my beautiful 1.5-year-old chocolate lab.

REIBC News

REIBC is working on a series of webinars and events that you can participate in over the year.  We are always looking for great speakers and great topics so if there is anything that you would like to know about it a short concise webinar or event, please let us know and we would be happy to investigate it further.

Over the last year, we have seen over 400 members throughout the province.  We are hoping that what we are planning for you are things that you would like to know about and that it assists you being that elite real estate professional. The Board of Governors is pleased with the uptake on these events and we have met a number of Mayors and Councilors as well. By doing the events in your areas, we are increasing your visibility and engaging people that may need an RI in future real estate dealings.

Member Survey

The member survey was delivered into your in box on January 28, 2020.  As of the writing of this enews we had a very slow response. We are hoping that over the next week, there will be a much larger response to the survey.
