Medical Marihuana: the Local Legal Perspective and Nanaimo: Development Projects

Speakers from the Tilray Group and BC Assessment will join us and speak on a new cutting edge medical marihuana facility they have opened up in Nanaimo. The Tilroy group will speak about the legal, regulatory and land issues they faced in setting up the medical marihuana production facility.

A representative of BC Assessment will present on the impacts of medical marihuana on assessment practices, including the hot topic of how these operations are being able to get farm classification based on the current government legislation. There will also be a conversation and overview of the City of Nanaimo's recent development projects.

We will be providing appetizers and all registrants will be entered into a draw to win some great door prizes!
