Dear Vancouver Real Estate Friends:
The Sauder Centre for Urban Economics and Real Estate is hosting a panel discussion June 22 at the Fairmont. Click here for details.
Our panel: developer Damon Chan from Westbank, Gil Kelley, head of Vancouver City Planning, Councillor Craig Cameron of West Vancouver, and David Taylor VP Colliers, will join me to discuss how Community Amenity Contributions and the like get priced in to land acquisition and apartments, how they benefit communities, and how they can best be designed to encourage politically sellable and affordable homes.
There will be food, drinks, and a great opportunity to schmooze before the panel starts. I hope to see you and any of your friends who might be interested next Thursday evening.
