Preparations are well underway, and we’re excited to share that progress is moving smoothly with an incredible lineup of speakers confirmed to address the future of BC’s real estate industry. This is shaping up to be a milestone event, filled with valuable insights, networking opportunities, and impactful discussions. Mindy Wight, RI

We are excited to share that Mindy Wight, CEO of Nch’ḵay̓ Development Corporation, will be joining us as a featured speaker at our upcoming conference. Mindy leads the wholly owned economic development group of the Squamish Nation, where she provides leadership in strategic decision-making, business planning, and financial management across the organization and its subsidiaries, with a strong focus on real estate development.

Under her leadership, the corporation continues to advance impactful projects that create long-term value for the Squamish Nation and the broader community.

RI Member Spotlight: Lauren Miller, RI - Cowichan Tribes

Lauren Miller is a project management professional with over a decade of experience in housing, infrastructure, and capital projects across government and First Nations organizations. She currently serves as a Capital Projects Advisor with Cowichan Tribes, where she oversees the planning, design, and delivery of community infrastructure projects while supporting land acquisitions and lease agreements.

Lauren has held progressive roles in project coordination and contract administration with the Capital Regional District and the BC Provincial Government, where she developed expertise in procurement, funding applications, and real estate development processes. She is completing her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2025 and recently earned a certificate in Indigenous Lands Management (Vancouver Island University, 2024) and her Diploma in Urban Land Economics (UBC Sauder School of Business, 2022).

In her free time Lauren operates a small online vintage store (www.oldmillvintage.com) and is working on a couple of home improvement projects including a new kitchen.

BC 2030: The Future of BC Real Estate

Join us on October 1 and 2, 2025 at the Delta Hotel Burnaby Conference Centre for an enlightening exploration of the future of BC real estate. Our carefully curated plenary sessions will address significant themes that are crucial to understanding the future of real estate in British Columbia. We are also excited to be hosting a private dinner event on October 1 at 5:00 pm in the renowned Atlas Steak and Fish, located within the Delta Hotel.

To secure your spot at the conference or dinner simply click the registration button below, you will be prompted to enter your attendance details. Once completed, you will have the option to add extra guests to your booking. This flexibility allows you to bring along colleagues, clients or friends who might benefit from the conference.

  • Conference and Dinner: This ticket includes access to the two-day conference, along with dinner at Atlas Steak and Fish on October 1, 2025 at 5:00pm.
  • Conference Only: This ticket includes access for both days of the conference. You’ll gain access to all sessions, panel discussions, and networking events.
