An Ontario landlord has filed an eviction notice against her tenant for bringing vaccinated guests into the home. The tenant was served with an N7 notice which read, “This is an unvaccinated house and contrary to landlords’ expressed wishes, you are having vaccinated visitors on a daily basis”. Though the tenant had signed a house rules agreement, there remains some question about whether she had ever agreed to keeping vaccinated guests out of the house. Conversations about vaccine status such as these are happening in all domains of society, so it is not surprising that they are now carrying over to landlord and tenant relationships.
