Senior lists North Vancouver home for $1.6 million but wants to stay there for life after sale – A homeowner in North Vancouver has listed his property for $1.6 million but does not plan to leave when his house sells. Instead, he wants continue living in his home until he dies or until he moves to a seniors’ facility for good. This can be done through a “life estate” registered on the property’s title, argued Macdonald Realty. For more information about the implications of this, check out Georgia Straight’s article.
