Member Spotlight - Megan McLean, BComm, P.App, AACI, RI
Megan McLean is a Property Administrator at the Prince Rupert Port Authority (PRPA) with nearly a decade of experience in real estate appraisal and marketing communications combined. She began her real estate appraisal career at McLean, Simon and Associates in Ontario, where she developed hands‑on expertise in valuation analysis, reporting, and client engagement. Since joining PRPA and moving to British Columbia in 2024, Megan has focused on industrial and commercial land management, and supporting development within a complex, multi‑asset port environment. Pairing appraisal discipline with collaborative communication, Megan prides herself on building relationships with the variety of stakeholders within and outside the port industry.
Megan joined REIBC in 2025 and has most recently obtained the P.App, AACI designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada. She values the RI community for its cross‑sector connections, professional standards, and opportunities to share a port authority perspective on real estate in BC.
