Greetings REIBC Members,

On May 28, the Real Estate Institute of BC was proud to host a highly successful Lunch & Learn, From Vancouver to Abu Dhabi: Lessons in Building World-Class Cities, at the historic Vancouver Club in partnership with the Planning Institute of British Columbia (PIBC).

It was a true honour to welcome two distinguished leaders in urban planning and development: Larry Beasley, renowned city planner and Michael White, development expert.

Attendees had the unique opportunity to hear firsthand lessons from one of the world's most ambitious urban development projects, while networking with professionals from across the real estate, planning, development sectors. As a special takeaway, each guest received a signed copy of Larry and Michael's new book, Planning the Future of Abu Dhabi.

We were also pleased to be joined by members of the REIBC Board of Governors, including Edwin Yan, RI, Rob Greene, RI, and REIBC Board President Clayton Olson, RI, whose support helped make the event such a success.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a thoughtful and inspiring afternoon. We look forward to bringing more engaging in-person Lunch & Learn events to our members and industry colleagues this fall.

Industry Golf Classic

⛳ We’re looking forward to welcoming all of our golfers this Thursday, June 4, for the REIBC Annual Industry Golf Tournament at GreenTee Golf Course!

This year's tournament is proudly presented in partnership with the Greater Vancouver REALTORS, the Appraisal Institute of Canada – BC, and the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association - BC, bringing together professionals from across the real estate industry.
