A Message from your Board
As we move into a busy and exciting fall season at REIBC, the Board of Governors is pleased to share a few updates with our members.
The Board met in September, and I am pleased to share a brief update. Our gathering was bittersweet: we welcomed our new Executive Director, Tamara Da Silveira, while marking our final Board meeting with Chris Hamade before he leaves the REIBC at the end of October. Both leaders share a passion for excellence and a commitment to the institution’s continued success and growth. Chris, thank you for the leadership and stewardship you have provided over the years.
We also reviewed the REIBC governance policies to confirm that the Board and its processes remain aligned with them.
We encourage all members to connect with your Board members, whether over coffee, by phone or at one of the upcoming REIBC events. We value the opportunity to get to know you better, hear what is on your mind, and consider your ideas and suggestions for how we can better support our members.
