Job Description / Duties
The Property Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for managing all property acquisition activities and delivery of property and land rights for Ministry of Transportation highway projects, including resource budgeting, contract management, appraisals, procurement of land survey, road closures and land exchanges, expropriation and related project management. In addition, Property Services provides legal research and issue management support to District and Regional initiatives. The work is interesting and dynamic, no two files are ever the same!
Qualifications / Required Skills
Completion of the Diploma in Urban Land Economics with Appraisal Specialization, plus professional membership with the REIBC is a requirement of the position.
Applicants who have completed some of the job requirements or lesser qualified applicants may be considered at a lower classification until all educational and professional requirements are completed.
Experience with land acquisitions, dispositions, real estate, conveyancing, or negotiating is preferred.

This position is located in Kamloops, and unfortunately remote working arrangements from other cities are not possible due to operational requirements.
Salary: $69,185.43 - $78,814.47
