If so, become a team member of the Planning and Partnerships Business Unit in the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure’s Northern Region.
As part of this team and reporting directly to the Manager Property Services, the Property Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for planning and managing highway property acquisition projects. As part of this role, you must have a proven record in negotiation with a strong background in real estate appraisal, understand conveyance and be familiar with the land title system, which will enable you to complete the registration of various interests in land such as road dedication and statutory rights of way.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Intrigued? If you possess a post secondary degree/diploma in management, business, commerce, urban land economics or natural resource, hold a AACI, RI(BC) or SR/WA designation in appraisal, have a minimum of three years experience (preferably in the public service) and experience in the following areas: property acquisition, conveyance and land title processes, and negotiation; planning, coordinating, and managing property acquisition; planning, coordinating and managing contracted services; and possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License we want to hear from you!

Salary: $56,055.00 - $64,052.10
