Job Description / Duties

We have an opportunity for a Senior Associate Credit Risk & Underwriting to support business growth. You will have an integral role in the evaluation and underwriting of complex potential new commercial loan opportunities and for monitoring loans in the existing portfolio, as well as mentoring less experienced team members.

Qualifications / Required Skills

You have an Undergraduate Degree in Commerce or Business Administration, with a Major in Urban Land Economics/Real Estate (with land law), Finance or equivalent qualifications and a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in the real estate lending industry with an established network of industry contacts. You have a Mortgage Broker License, or will obtain one within you first 9 months of employment.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Word and Excel
• In-depth knowledge of Real Estate and Finance
• Strong numeracy skills
