Vancouver, BC: The Real Estate Institute of British Columbia (REIBC) is delighted to host its 20th Anniversary Charity Golf Tournament, Dinner & Auction fundraising event in support of the Make-A-Wish® Foundation of BC & Yukon, on Wednesday, June 19th, 2013 at the Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey, BC.
Over the past 19 years, the REIBC has raised over $370,000 for local charities and is pleased to partner with the Make-A-Wish Foundation again this year. “This event allows our members to network with each other and industry colleagues, enjoying a terrific day of golf and entertainment at a fantastic venue – the food and golf course are outstanding. It is particularly fulfilling to know that proceeds from the event contribute to Make-A-Wish, providing our members with an opportunity to give back to the community and bring hope and joy to many children and their families,” says REIBC president, Andre Gravelle.
Registration information, donation information and sponsorship inquiries can be found at www.reibc.org. The deadline to register for participation in the tournament is June 1, 2013.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC & Yukon Chapter has been granting wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions since 1983 and has granted more than 1500 wishes in the BC/Yukon Region since inception. This year, the Foundation hopes to grant over 100 special wishes that aim to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
