Protecting industrial land is key for a healthy economy - but how can industrial land also support a green economy (and vice versa)? Our industrial lands not only serve as places of work, but are also the hub for design and innovation. Yet, the approach to designing most industrial buildings and lands has not evolved as quickly as that for residential or mixed use lands. This session of Market Insights explores the successes and challenges of leading municipalities, developers, investors and property managers in developing green industrial spaces and their role as a catalyst for green economic development.

Panelists include: Murray MacKinnon -Vice President of Sustainability, Ledcor; Marcy Sangret - Deputy Director, Community Planning & Development, Corporation of Delta; Jean-Philippe Picard -Regional Lead, Project Management Western Canada, CB Richard Ellis; and moderator Tracy Casavant, Executive Director, Light House.
