 of our everyday lives. Many of us use applications and devices to perfor
 m many essential daily functions. Technology has changed how we connect 
 with friends and families, how we work, how we shop, travel, eat, learn,
  et cetera. Some say that the world of real estate, often referred to as
  “bricks and mortar”, has been relatively slower to adopt the use of
  information technology specifically created to enable the various aspec
 ts of real estate activity. This category is commonly known as “PropTe
 ch”. This webinar will feature three panelists who will represent pers
 pectives relating to building, managing, and supporting real estate with

 -------------------------\n\nJon Burbee, RI, Director, Business Develop
 ment, Canada, Gordian. Jon was recently appointed as the Director of Bus
 iness Development, Canada for Gordian Group.  Gordian (www.gordian.com)
  is the leader in facility and construction cost data, software and serv
 ices for all phases of the building lifecycle. From planning to design, 
 procurement, construction and operations, Gordian’s solutions help cli
 ents maximize efficiency, optimize cost savings and increase building qu
 ality.\n\nHis experience as a public sector executive and leader has pri
 marily focused on real property management and construction as a constru
 ction engineering officer in Canada’s Armed Forces and as a public ser
 vant in the federal and provincial governments. Most recently, he worked
  in a strategic role supporting the provincial government’s response 
 to the pandemic and natural disasters through digitally enabled multi-ch
 annel public-facing service delivery.\n\nJon holds a Bachelor’s degree
  in Science in Physics & Oceanography, a Masters in Policy & Strategy, a
 s well as a Diploma in Urban Land Economics. He has been an RI since 201
 9 and a member of the Board of Governors since 2020.\n\nNamrata Sheth, E
 IC – Senior Manager of Corporate Sustainability, Government of British
  Columbia. Namrata will bring her experience and lessons learned in the 
 use of technology in existing and new buildings to achieve broader objec
 tives for government and in public spaces.\n\nBen Cooper, Manager of Pro
 perty Technology, Bentall Green Oak. Ben supports the adoption and manag
 ement of operating technology (OT) and information technology (IT) into 
 new projects such as Bentall 6 in Vancouver and other properties in the 
 portfolio. Ben will share some of the benefits and pitfalls of technolog
 y to investors, operators, and tenants.\n\n \n\nRegistration closes Mar
