 n\nBryan Yu\n\nAs Central 1’s Chief Economist, Bryan Yu leads a team o
 f economists conducting macro- and regional economic analysis for the or
 ganization and the broader credit union system. He is author and editor 
 of many of its flagship research reports and weekly notes published for 
 clients and the public. Bryan speaks regularly at credit union and indus
 try events and is frequently contacted by media to provide national and 
 provincial economic commentary. Within Central 1, Bryan also sits on var
 ious committees related to risk and treasury.\n\nBryan has been with Cen
 tral 1 for a decade, and previously worked as a housing economist at the
  BC Real Estate Association and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation,
  as well as an academic researcher in immigration economics.\n\nBryan ho
 lds a MA in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a BA from the Uni
 versity of Manitoba. He currently serves on the boards of the B.C. Parap
 legic Foundation and Canadian Association for Business Economics.\n\nReg
