Commercial Leasing
It is definitely not “business as usual” for many commercial landlords and tenants given the challenges faced by ongoing costs, business closures, and the changing economic landscape. In this webinar, we will hear from Bill Holder, a business litigation partner and mediator at Clark Wilson LLP, on how to navigate current “hot button” COVID-19 issues impacting parties to a commercial lease. Bill will weigh in on matters such as the question of rent deferral vs. abatement, operating costs, and the closure of premises. He’ll also offer some recommendations and strategies for dealing with these and other challenges in the face of the ongoing pandemic response.
