Webinar: Step Code

April 30, 2020, 12:00 - 1:00 PM

The BC Energy Step Code is an integral part of British Columbia's CleanBC Plan to shift toward a resilient and more energy-efficient future for new houses and buildings. Through this webinar you will learn what the BC Energy Step Code is, how it supports B.C. Government mandates and enables local government leadership on innovation and climate action, and how it will inform the next edition of the BC Building Code. You will also come away with an understanding of the features of a BC Energy Step Code house and how design and construction practices are changing as a result. Finally, you will learn why this matters to REIBC members as a result of the tangible benefits for home buyers and sellers
