REIBC welcomes new Executive Director Christopher Hamade

Dear Members,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 fiscal year!  I would like to formally introduce myself as the new Executive Director of the Real Estate Institute of BC.  It is with great enthusiasm that I make this introduction and incredible optimism for what lies ahead.

While I had the honour of working alongside Brenda Southam since 2019 as a consultant, it was the last two weeks that exposed me to the inner workings of the organization.  It was here that I witnessed the incredible detail and commitment Brenda gave to the Institute.  Her dedication and integrity was both inspiring and hopeful.  

As Brenda has now returned to Saskatchewan, I will be transitioning into full-time administration and operations of the Institute.  Your incredible Board of Governors have generously offered their time and assistance, should I require.  I am very well supported.

I look forward to meeting many of you during my tenure.  I intend to pursue your ideas, insights, comments and suggestions.  

Finally, I hope to offer some exciting announcements in the coming days!   Please stay tuned as we unfold this exciting new chapter.
