Job Description / Duties

Qualifications / Required Skills
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Diploma in Urban Land Economics or a related field or equivalent.
• Eligibility for membership in the Real Estate Institute of BC or the Appraisal Institute of BC. • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the Real Estate Industry, Land Development Industry, or government lands ministry/agency/department.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive supervisory responsibility.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in Urban Land Economics or BBRE (Bachelor of Business in Real Estate)
• Previous experience in a municipal government setting.

Hours & Days of Work :
Monday – Friday:
8:00am – 4:00pm (Summer)
8:30am – 4:30pm (Winter)
Hours per Week:
37.5
Salary: This position has a starting salary of $94,692.00 annually, with a performance-based progression through a step-based process to $ 102,589.50 annually. The City has a comprehensive benefit package including generous vacation and an Earned Days Off program
