Governance at REIBC
Governance at REIBC is an important part of how we provide value to all the different members across British Columbia.
By having a strong governance structure in place with a Board of Governors and strategic annual reporting, all members can have peace of mind that they have a strong organization behind the RI Designation.
Board of Governors
The Board of Governors is made up of industry professionals from all areas of the BC real estate industry and community. They’re required to be a member and hold an RI Designation—a distinguished real estate designation and certification in British Columbia.
Their function is to provide leadership on the annual strategic goals of the organization—to be the respected and trusted leaders in the real estate sector, while implementation is handled by the Executive Officer.
The Real Estate Institute of British Columbia operates with an elected Board of 11 Governors that represent the seven districts of the province. Institute members from all segments of the real estate industry further the work of the Institute by participating on Institute Committees and Task Forces.
Past Presidents
The past presidents have also helped pave the way for the amazing benefits that REIBC is now able to provide to members. Below is list of those that have contributed:
Annual Reports
As a professional organization, we pride ourselves on providing transparent information about the organization you’re a member of. Our organization runs on strategic priorities and initiatives that are aligned to add value to members.
Every year the board develops an annual report to give current and future members a glimpse inside the responsible practices and initiatives of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia.
