Job Description / Duties

An exceptional opportunity exists to join an outstanding team of real estate professionals. The Vice President, Asset Management will be responsible for a ~$1.6B portfolio of industrial, office, retail, and multi-residential income producing real estate assets, including development and re-development projects. The portfolio is Metro Vancouver based and includes assets in the Prime Canadian Property Fund, the Sun Life general account and the Separately Managed Account (SEPACs) portfolios. The VP is directly responsible for overseeing the strategic and financial performance of the properties in the portfolio and is expected to maximize returns for the assets under their control. Maintaining strong working relationships internally, as well as with operating and ownership partners, while ensuring fiduciary responsibilities are met, will be essential to success. To achieve this, the successful candidate will make recommendations with respect to asset and portfolio strategy and will lead the implementation of best-in-class sustainability and social impact initiatives.

As the successful candidate you will bring a minimum ten years of senior level experience in asset management, ideally with experience working in all asset classes. You are a consummate real estate professional and bring with you long standing relationships in the Metro Vancouver real estate market. In addition, you possess superior analytical, investment management and organizational skills, coupled with strong communication skills.
