• Examined, researched and analyzed requests and proposals regarding existing and new BC Hydro property interests; recommended technical and engineering reviews to ensure zero impact on BC Hydro’s infrastructure. • Reviewed legal terms and conditions of BC Hydro’s right of way registered charges; researched titles; reviewed maps, legal surveys and zoning by-laws; reviewed PIMS, DAD and PowerGrid data in order to make decisions. • Completed detailed referral information packages for circulation to Transmission and Distribution Engineering Services; prepared Compatible Use Letter for applicant execution. ROGERS COMMUNICATIONS INC. 2006 – 2014

Senior Real Estate Analyst

• Exercised options to renew for sites in Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC covering tower sites in rural locations and roof-top sites in urban centres. • Managed a property portfolio of 500+ sites and finalized negotiations for 50+ renewals annually without missing a renewal notice deadline. • Completed market rental summary reports to establish fair market value range ($25,000 - $50,000 per site) prior to negotiations.

• Negotiated additional renewal terms including finalizing rent for future terms and identified opportunities to improve business terms from initial agreement to be more favorable to Rogers. • Led Network Upgrade Project Teams and managed projects (each valued at +$1 million) covering installation of new antennas and fibre conduits. • Coordinated and completed all due diligence requirements related to the purchase and/or disposal of real property throughout BC on behalf of the Provincial Rental Housing Corporation for various Ministry of Children and Family Development and Community Partnership Initiative Housing Programs averaging $500,000 - $1.0 million per location.

• Prepared and presented Executive Committee Submission reports for approval by Senior Board of Directors. Outlined project purpose, scope and budget prior to obtaining Commission approval to proceed with acquisition or disposition. • Negotiated with Society and Legal Counsel long-term lease agreements, including Section 219 Agreements with Option to Purchase for registration at Land Title Office which were needed to secure long-term mortgage financing for Independent Living BC Program.

MINISTRY OF PROVINCIAL REVENUE 2002 – 2004 Field Officer Collections

• Negotiated collection of Provincial Sales Tax arising from Audit Assessment Reports and/or delinquent accounts directly with Taxpayers and issued Bank Demands or Writs of Seizure and Sale generating $300,000 - $400,000 monthly.

MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION 1992 – 2002 Senior Property Agent

• Led Property Management, Property Acquisition, Disposition and Land Exchange Teams thereby maximizing revenue to the Province, including negotiation of Section 35 Agreements with First Nations and negotiation of Statutory Right-of-Way Agreements with Landlords and External Stakeholders.

• Recommended to Senior Management innovative approaches to resolve complex real estate acquisitions, expropriations and land exchanges ensuring timely delivery of required property and avoidance of expropriation.
