Performs highly skilled technical and record keeping work of a relatively complex nature under the limited supervision of the Real Estate Supervisor. Work involves coordinating the lease, purchase, and sale of properties owned by the City or required by the City for specific uses, including park development, road and utility construction projects, and the acquisition and disposition of statutory rights-of-way and licences; maintenance of the department’s legal documents precedents; and the drafting and arranging for execution and electronic filing of legal
documents as required by the City. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining appropriate land management files and inventory control related to each and maintains files for property leased by the City or where the City holds partial or limited interest in property. Work also involves conducting inspections to determine the suitability of proposed infrastructure
