The Office of the Superintendent of Real Estate (OSRE) sets conduct standards for the real estate industry, oversees the Real Estate Council’s delivery of Council’s consumer protection mandate, and leads the ongoing reform of real estate industry regulation in British Columbia. OSRE also exercises statutory jurisdiction under the Real Estate Services Act, regulates the marketing of multi-unit real estate developments under the Real Estate Development Marketing Act, and approves strata plan schedules under the Strata Property Act.
