We have recently been privy to some interesting conversations regarding the changing nature of travel and tourism within BC, ranging from the economic drivers for travel to smaller resort communities, to movements on our provincial highways, waterways, and air strips. One overarching trend is that total entries to BC from the United States have fallen by more than 40 percent over the past decade, from more than 7 million trips in 2000 to only 4.2 million by 2011.
