Course overview
This course includes 10 lessons, each approximately 5 to 10 minutes in length. Each lesson has a valuable insight that you can think on or take away and implement in your real estate career.
It’s self-paced on your time and there are no pre-requisites required to enter this course.
Meet your instructor
Connie obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in 1984 and Master of Business Administration in 1988, both from the University of British Columbia. A lifelong learner, she completed a Certificate of Strategic Leadership from UBC, a Certificate in Leadership from Queens University, the Directors Education Program from the University of Toronto and most recently, became a Chartered Professional Accountant, CMA.
Most of her career has been spent in various aspects of the real estate sector including responsibility for professional real estate education while at the Real Estate Division of the Sauder School of Business, creation of professional courses in appraisal and assessment, many years in various roles at BC Assessment including 8 years as CEO and finally, 5 years as the CEO of the Land Title and Survey Authority. Throughout her career, Connie has promoted a customer focus, transparency, transformation of services using technology and an empowered work environment that supports professional development and promotion from within. She is an accomplished speaker and has represented BC and Canada in various countries around the world, sharing aspects of the real estate infrastructure in BC.
Connie has been recognized with many awards including Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada, YWCA Woman of Distinction in Business and the Professions, CEO Award in the Public Services category by Business in Vancouver and has been named a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants, CMA.
