Bio/Background

I have worked in the real estate field for almost 10 years. Starting my career at the British Columbia Housing Management Commission, where I provided administrative support to Property Managers, Project Officers, and Development Managers. Seeking further career advancement, I enrolled in the Urban Land Economics Diploma at the University of British Columbia where I graduated in November 2019. In July 2018, I joined the British Columbia Hydro and Power Authority (BC Hydro) as a Property Coordinator on their Distribution Acquisition Services team. The primary focus of my role was the preparation and registration of Statutory Rights of Way agreements (SRWs) on fee simple land and the acquisition of rights on Crown land (either a Licence or SRW). In October 2024, I transitioned into a new role at BC Hydro on their Indigenous Land Services team (ILS) as a Property Representative. My role in ILS is to negotiate property rights on First Nations' reserve and treaty settlement lands. It is now my hope to enhance my credentials through the RI designation with the Real Estate Institute of BC.
