Two positions available
Victoria, B.C.
The Properties and Land Management Branch is responsible for several billion dollars in land and water assets held by the BC Transportation Finance Authority (BCTFA) which is a Provincial Crown Corporation. Land areas are comprised of regional public airports, ferry terminals, port leases, abandoned railways and properties held, or no longer required, for Transportation Project purposes. Of significant importance is the branch’s role in promoting investment by the private sector and other levels of government in transportation infrastructure.
As the Land Project Manager, you are responsible for managing land improvement projects to gain significant enhancements in land value and/or land use and play a key role in administering partnership and contribution agreements. A knowledgeable real estate expert, you market surplus lands and administration of leases, licenses and other revenue producing responsibilities. An effective communicator and collaborator, you develop strategic partnerships and negotiate key components of land and infrastructure improvements with First Nations, utilities and local government.
