Job Description / Duties
This is a varied field and office role pertaining to real property management, negotiation, disposition, and real estate related advisory functions.
This position is responsible for preparing and reviewing reports and documents related to real property transactions and restoration contracts. Negotiating with owners, their representatives and tenants while participating in arbitration and expropriation proceedings will be required.
Considerable knowledge of the principles and procedures of acquisition, appraising, and managing of real estate property are required. Applicants must also have considerable knowledge of the current real estate market trends, construction costs, mortgages, leases, property management, relevant legislation and statutes and the procedures and documentation used in conveyancing and land title registrations.
Qualifications / Required Skills
You must have completion of a two-year diploma in a related technology or discipline and a minimum of 3 years of current related real estate experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training are required.
Applicants must be eligible for membership in either the International Right-of-Way Association, the Appraisal Institute of Canada or the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia.
A valid BC Driver’s License with safe driving history is required.
