Job Description / Duties

Reporting to a Board of Directors, the CEO will be a true problem solver, and bring experience in strategic planning, risk assessment and constituent engagement. As a highly respected real estate professional with superior analytical and organizational skills, the CEO will bring a background in institutional asset management as well as proven experience in change management, which the CEO will approach in a measured and responsible way. An undergraduate or higher degree is preferred.

A tremendous opportunity exists for a highly motivated, professional real estate leader who can bring strategic guidance to a truly unique group of institutional assets.
The CEO, UVic External Properties will be responsible for a diverse, multi-million dollar portfolio of properties that encompasses all non-academic assets. The individual will be responsible for optimizing revenue, for the short term and the long term, managing risk and developing a structure that provides efficient and effective management of the real estate assets. Paramount to success will be the ability to forge strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders across many sectors.
