Job Description / Duties
Our Real Estate Team is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their group as a temporary Property Assistant. In this role, you will:
• Process commercial and residential agreements. Ensure receipt of required insurance policies and certificates. Inspect insurance documents for compliance.
• Input property agreement information into the property management system. Conduct research to ensure the completeness of information in the property management system.
• Coordinate the short term use of PMV property from initiation through to execution of short term use agreements. Calculate user fees in accordance with PMV’s Filming Guidelines. Prepare contracts for signature and ensure receipt of insurance and user fees. Conduct tours of property available for short-term use with interested parties and coordinate pre and post event inspections.
• Research, coordinate and update existing residential inventory.
• Initiate the issuance of residential waterfront agreements, review same for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist with field inspections of residential waterfront properties as required to ensure utilization is in compliance with agreement terms and to identify unauthorized use of PMV property.
- Prepare, administrate and process real estate contracts as required.
• Provide administrative support to the department as required.
Qualifications / Required Skills
As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of one year of post-secondary studies in property management or land law, along with a minimum of two years experience in a real estate environment. Your experience preparing real estate contracts would be considered a strong asset. You are a customer-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. You have the ability to deal with sensitive and confidential documentation, work under pressure and meet deadlines. You are also proficient in MS Word and Excel and have experience working with a property management database.
