Join us for lunch and a presentation on the recent and planned development activity for the City of Vernon with guest speaker Craig Broderick, RI.
Craig Broderick, RI, will be providing a presentation on the recent and planned development activity in Vernon. He will examine areas of growth and will share information on some of the projects that are coming to the City. This presentation will also take a look at infrastructure investments and how it relates to growth and development.
Craig Broderick, RI, Manager, Current Planning, Approving Officer City of Vernon
Craig brings over 25 years of planning and development experience to the role of Manager of Current Planning and Approving Officer for the City of Vernon. As part of the Community Infrastructure and Development Services Division, Craig leads a team of planning professionals that are responsible for the provision of all current planning and subdivision services. Building on his education, professional planning background and practical experience, Craig strives to create solutions that result in the best possible outcome.
Craig completed an Honours Bachelor Degree from the University of Waterloo, School of Urban and Regional Planning and has completed several other training courses in planning and management. He is knowledgeable in many aspects of planning and has served on the Council of the Planning Institute of BC. Craig has been a Member of the Canadian Institute of Planners since 1994 and a member of the Real Estate Institute of BC for the past 8 years.
While licenced as a Commercial Realtor, his knowledge and experience provided added value to projects and real estate transactions. Craig enjoys many of the amenities of the Okanagan Valley with his wife Kathy and three children. Craig is active in the community through coaching his children's sports teams and serving as a Director o the Mackie Lake House Foundation.
