Bio/Background

Jon Burbee is a real estate professional who connects building intelligence insights and advice to portfolio owners and investors. He is currently the Director, Business Development – Canada for Gordian (www.Gordian.com), the leader in facility and construction cost data, software and services for all phases of the building lifecycle.

Jon’s career experience has had a focus on real property management and construction been predominantly in the public sector as a construction engineering officer in Canada’s Armed Forces and as a public servant with the federal and provincial governments. Jon is currently a Governor on the board of the Real Estate Institute of British Columbia and a past delegate to the National Executive Forum on Public Property. He is a recipient of the Real Property Institute of Canada’s award for capital planning as well as a Premier of British Columbia award for data-informed service improvement. Jon holds a Bachelors of Science (1992), Masters in Defence Studies (2007), and a Diploma in Urban Land Economics (2019).
