Bio/Background
Tim specializes in the marketing and sale of commercial, industrial and investment properties, development land, businesses as well as farms and ranches, executive, estate and waterfront residences. He also provides comprehensive annual property assessment tax reviews, negotiations and appeals. Centrally based in the Comox Valley, he regularly travels throughout the Province assisting clients with a variety of real estate sales, leasing and consulting assignments.
He is a licensed Associate Broker uniquely qualified with over 36 years of professional real estate experience in marketing and sales, valuation, appraisal, property assessment appeals, and corporate consulting. His previous experiences include Founding Principal and Managing Broker with NAI Commercial Okanagan, Vice President, Real Estate Advisory and Transaction Services with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Vice President with Colliers International and Senior Supervisory Appraiser with the BC Assessment Authority. He has worked throughout the province of British Columbia including the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island, the Northwest and Okanagan Regions and has an extensive, strategic network of real estate professionals and clients across Canada.
He is an accredited real estate professional with the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI, P. App - retired), International Association of Assessing Officers (CAE - retired), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) , and Real Estate Institute of British Columbia (RI) . He was recently Chair on the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board's Commercial Division Council. He was a member on the Professional Practice Committee with the Interior Association of Realtors. He was a founding Chair of the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board’s Commercial Zone, served as a Director on the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board, Past Chair of the BC Commercial Council and a former Executive Member of the BC Chapter of the Canadian Property Tax Association.
Tim’s family has been actively involved in fundraising on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
