Job Description / Duties
The Facilities and Real Estate Division requires a regular full-time Property Management Coordinator.
You will be responsible for coordinating operational support and maintenance of all City facilities and properties; developing service contract specifications; administering land use agreements; monitoring the work of contract workers; conducting property inspections; ensuring the efficient operation of buildings; administer a portfolio of rental and leased properties; participate in planning for major capital projects; prepare budget estimates; monitor expenditures and prepare related reports and correspondence.
Qualifications / Required Skills
You will have considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and functions of property management, building maintenance, repair and property improvements, and sound knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act. In addition you will have experience in conducting property inspections and in making recommendations for necessary repairs and improvements. Experience in preparing budget estimates and monitoring budgets, reviewing costs and expenditures, and preparing necessary reports is also required. Supervisory experience, a valid BC Class 5 Drivers License and proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word is also required. You will have courses leading to or resulting in a Property Management Certificate.

Hours of Work:
The City of North Vancouver currently works on a compressed work schedule of 8:30am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with one scheduled day off (Monday or Friday) approximately each three-week scheduling cycle.
Salary: $34.01 to $40.16 per hour (Pay Grade 24 - January 2015 rates)
