Lease Manager

Salary $72,000 - $100,000 annually

The Real Properties Division provides accommodation and real estate services to government ministries and the broader public sector and manages, on behalf of the Province, a diverse real estate portfolio of leased and government-owned properties that extend throughout the province. The Leasing Services Branch provides stewardship for the portfolio of owned and leased properties entrusted to its management.

The Lease Manager negotiates cost effective yet functional leased spaces, and provides real estate consulting services to government ministries and the broader public sector. The position is responsible for ensuring all available approaches are employed to reduce costs, maximize efficient and effective use of leased space, and that future needs are properly forecast and addressed.

You are a skilled project portfolio and procurement management expert and possess strong collaboration, problem solving and influencing skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter who is comfortable working under limited supervision, thrives in a project environment and is skilled in solving business related challenges.

Qualifications for this role include:

• Post-secondary degree in real estate, business administration, or public administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years Commercial Leasing experience is required.
• Experience in contract management.
