Job Description / Duties

The Vice President (VP), Asset Management will be responsible for a portfolio of income producing real estate assets (and potential development projects) managed by Bentall Kennedy on behalf of their clients. The role will collaborate and work with operations, leasing, re-development, development and financing aspects of the assigned portfolio. The VP, Asset Management is directly responsible for overseeing the performance of properties in the portfolio, and this individual is expected to maximize returns for the assets under his/her control and ensure that those assets are maintained and operated at a high standard. The role includes the need to maintain strong working relationships with the Services Group, as well as operating and ownership partners, while ensuring ownership rights and fiduciary responsibilities are met. To achieve this, the VP, Asset Management will make recommendations with respect to portfolio strategy and lead the implementation of best-in-class approaches for asset management services.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The desired candidate will bring a minimum five years senior level experience in asset management, ideally with a focus on office and/or industrial real-estate assets. The successful candidate is a consummate real estate professional known for their ability to build solid relationships. This individual will possess superior analytical and organizational skills, coupled with strong communication skills, and he/she must be a self-motivated, well-organized, and results-driven professional who leads by example.
