Job Description / Duties

We are seeking a collaborative, transparent, and service-focused leader for the position of General Manager. This is an exciting opportunity and a great time to join Arbutus Ridge. The General Manager will work with a supportive and forward-looking Strata Council to build a highly effective team and carry out long-term strategic plans to develop community infrastructure, including village center revitalization.
Reporting to Strata Council, the General Manager will lead Strata Corporation’s day-to-day operations and administration and oversee the operation and management of strata common property and limited common property, including buildings, recreation facilities, roadways, sidewalks, landscaping, hiking trails, retaining walls, streetlights, on-site RV storage, and the seashore common area and boat ramp. In addition, responsibilities include project management, controlling budget spending and people management for all Strata employees and associated contractors.

Qualifications / Required Skills

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline, combined with 5 to 10 years of experience in community operations management, including general business management, administration, and property and facilities management. The General Manager will be a highly ethical, collaborative and community-focused individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as a proven ability to build effective relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
