Job Description / Duties

As the Partnerships Office Director, you will be responsible for leading a branch focused on changing the way the organization delivers important capital assets, programs, and services to the residents of Kelowna. You will deliver this mandate through the development of alternative revenue sources and through the development of high-profile partnerships with the private, public, and non-profit sectors. You will bring entrepreneurial and relationship advancement approaches and focus on partnership management, sponsorship & advertising revenue, grant funding, business stakeholder liaison, and intergovernmental relations.

Qualifications / Required Skills

You hold a Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and have extensive experience in a similar role. You are politically savvy and have exceptional leadership, communications and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of staff. You are a strategic thinker and have exemplary problem solving and communication skills. You understand the benefits of building effective relationships with other City departments, external agencies and the public.

Salary: This exempt position offers a salary range of $120,000 t0 $134,000 and a fully paid comprehensive benefits plan, one of Canada’s top pensions, and Earned-Day-Off & Wellness programs for your Work/Life balance.
